Images must be taken legally, complying with all forest operations signage, land tenure requirements, road rules, and CASA regulations for drone images. Images of people or activities must be of lawful, responsible behaviour. Photographers must obtain a release from all people or owners of vehicles that can be identified in an image.

Photographers must comply with HQP’s Commercial Activity: Photography and Filming permit requirements (only required if the number of crew and subjects exceeds 11 people, or any structures other than a tripod are used in filming, or drones exceed 2kg in weight).

To ensure your images are taken in HQP-managed forests, refer to the interactive map on our website at www.hqplantations.com.au/plantations. When using a GPS-enabled smart phone, your location is visible on the map similar to Google or Apple maps. Themes requiring the image to be taken in HQP’s plantation forests refer to plantation pine trees not custodial native forest buffers or riparian zones.
